TV Shows: Learn all about ABC Family’s “Stitchers”

Standard

ABC Family has announced it is going to be adding yet another TV show to it’s lineup! Currently, the channel airs “Pretty Little Liars”, “Switched at Birth”, “Chasing Life”, “The Fosters”, “Mystery Girls”, “Young & Hungry”, “Baby Daddy” and “Melissa & Joey”. In the past, they have aired shows such as “Ravenswood”, “Twisted”, “The Lying Game” and “Bunheads” who didn’t make the cut.

But it seems like they might be switching things up: “Stitchers” is neither family center nor romantic nor teenager. It is actually a procedural drama and follows Kirsten, a young woman who is recruited to be a part of a super secret government project, where she will be literally stitched to dead people’s minds to get clues and solve crimes. Working alongside her, is a passionate neuroscientist called Cameron, a bioeletrical engineer called Linus, head of the covert program Maggie and a computer science grad student with major hacking skills called Camille.

Kirsten will be played by newcomer Emma Ishta; The Carrie Diaries’ Kyle Harris will be playing Cameron; Linus will be played by Mark Daugherty; Maggie will be played by Dianne Farr from Numb3rs and Camille will be Minni Jo Mazzola from Parks and Recreation. Warehouse 13’s Allison Scagliotti, Eureka’s Salli Richardson-Whitfield, The Last Airbender’s Ritesh Rajan and NCIS’ Damon Dayoub will also be part of the show’s recurring cast.

I will keep you informed of news about ABC Family’s new show, which still doesn’t have a premiere date or a trailer.
